Social-Emotional WELLNESS

SEW Program

The Social Emotional Wellness program is designed to support the growth and development of youth and teens through engaging, hands-on group activities and collaborative projects. Held in both community and school settings, this group provides a safe, inclusive space where participants can explore and strengthen key social-emotional skills such as self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving. Through creative exercises and guided discussions, participants learn to better understand themselves and others, fostering stronger interpersonal relationships and a sense of belonging.

By nurturing these foundational skills, the Social Emotional Wellness Group empowers youth to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically, helping them become more connected, compassionate, and self-assured individuals.

CREATE A Healthy Mind & Body

Specialized Yoga Programs

HEALTHY MINDS YOGA:

Healthy Minds Yoga is an educational yoga program with handouts and discussion on mental health related experiences and practices. This program is offered in both private and community settings.

With a focus on education and intentional practice, this program empowers participants to understand the connection between mind and body and to apply these insights in everyday life. Whether it’s a child learning calming techniques before school or an adult managing anxiety, the sessions are tailored to meet diverse needs and abilities. By blending movement with mental health knowledge, the program fosters long-term wellness, encouraging individuals to build habits that support both emotional strength and physical vitality.

TRADITIONAL YOGA:

We offer yoga programs for individuals ages 2 through adulthood, available in both private and group settings. These yoga sessions use traditional poses and evidence-based mindfulness practices to support physical health, balance, and inner calm.

For younger children (ages 2 to 5), classes incorporate playful movement, songs, and age-appropriate breathing techniques to promote creativity, body awareness and emotional regulation.

NEURO-AFFIRMING YOGA:

We also offer neurodiverse-affirming yoga classes that honor and support the unique ways individuals experience and interact with the world. These sessions are thoughtfully designed to be flexible, inclusive, and empowering, creating a space where participants of all neurotypes feel respected, understood, and safe. With a focus on choice, self-regulation, and body autonomy, the practice encourages participants to move in ways that feel good to them, without pressure or judgment. Visual supports, clear instructions, and sensory considerations are integrated to support accessibility, while mindfulness and movement are used as tools for grounding, emotional expression, and self-connection. This affirming approach fosters confidence, reduces anxiety, and nurtures a positive relationship with both body and mind.
